How your details are handled

This page sets out Lumikraft Mercantile‘s handling of personal data, governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Data we hold

We ask for the minimum an order needs: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address. If you create an account we also store your order history and any addresses you save.

Nothing about your bank reaches us. UPI is approved on your side, and no payment credential is stored here.

Purpose

It exists so we can:

  • process and pack your order
  • arrange delivery and share tracking updates
  • answer support messages about an order
  • meet record-keeping obligations under Indian law
  • detect and prevent fraudulent orders

Third parties

The courier delivering your parcel gets your name, address and phone number — there is no way to deliver without it. Payment is handled by the UPI infrastructure of your own bank. We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.

Disclosure otherwise happens only where the law compels it.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies to keep your cart and your session working. You can block cookies in your browser, though the cart may stop functioning if you do. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Access and correction

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything inaccurate
  • ask us to erase data we no longer need for an order or a legal obligation
  • withdraw consent for messages that are not about an order

Storage period

We retain order records for the period Indian tax and consumer law requires, then delete them. Account data stays until you ask for removal, and support emails are kept briefly after a query closes.

Children

This is not a site for minors. Data from anyone under 18 is not knowingly collected and is deleted when found.

Grievances are acknowledged within one business day and resolved within thirty days, in line with the DPDP Act, 2023.

Any mention of putting something right means a replacement or refund under our returns policy, not a manufacturer warranty claim.
